素质教育提倡各科教学都要体现出"一切为了学生,为了学生的一切"的观念,基础阶段的教育更是如此。因此,在小学数学教学中,教师应当按照新课程标准的要求,充分体现"学生是教学活动的主体"这一观念,重视培养学生的创新意识,重视学生个性的发展,及其实践能力的提高等。教师作为学生的引路人,新教材的实践者,只有具备与之相适应的新观念,才能充分地、准确地理解新课程的理念,把握新教材的宗旨,领会教材编者的意图,才能使自己在教学工作中做到有的放矢。
