Understanding on the Three Dimensions of Marx’s “Opium” Argument

国内外学者针对马克思关于宗教的"鸦片"论断理解各有不同,根据其研究的侧重点,可将他们的观点概括为宗教功能描述说、鸦片非毒品说等。文章认为,理解马克思的该论断,第一,要明白在这个论断中的"宗教"指的是经马丁·路德宗教改革后的宗教;第二,"鸦片"是具有否定意义的概念;第三,马克思的"鸦片"论断的本质是对现实社会的批判。

Scholars at home and abroad have different understandings of Marx’s"opium"argument about religion.According to the focus of their research,their views can be summarized as religious function descriptions,opium non-drugs and so on.The author believes that to understand Marx’s argument,first,we must understand that the"religion"in this argument refers to the religion after Martin Luther’s religious reform;second,the"opium"is a concept with negative meaning;third,the essence of Marx’s"opium"argument is a critique of the real society.
