摘要
本研究依据Fairclough话语分析三维框架,对BBC纪录片《中国创造》进行批评话语分析,从文本、话语实践、社会实践三个层面分析该片话语策略和所构建的科技中国形象,并挖掘背后的意识形态和社会语境,进而分析呈现此种中国形象的缘由。研究发现,《中国创造》通过词汇选择、文本架构、议程设置、互文性等手段,塑造了一个"科技发展与危险并存"的\充满矛盾的、双重的科技中国形象,这种形象的构建与"西方中心论"的意识形态偏见密切相关。
Taking Fairclough’s three-dimensional model as the theoretical framework,the study analyzes the BBC documentary"Designed in China"at three levels:description level,interpretation level and explanation level.Through the analysis,the study intends to find out the specific national image of China shaped by the documentary and the ideology behind discourse.It finds that the documentary forms a paradoxical image of China through overlexicalization,framing,agenda setting and intertextuality,and that shaping this image is closely related to"West-central Concept".
