The Impact of Government Quality on Citizen Participation Inclination:A Readjusted Mediation Model

本文通过调查问卷收集了政府质量、政府信任等变量的数据,运用回归分析方法,深度剖析了政府质量、政府信任以及社会责任感影响公民参与倾向的机制和原理。研究表明:政府质量和政府信任是影响公民参与倾向的关键变量,对公民参与倾向有直接影响。另外,个体社会责任感不仅会负向调节政府信任与公民参与倾向之间的关系,还会削弱政府信任在政府质量与公民参与倾向之间的中介作用。研究结论揭示了政府质量发挥治理作用的复杂机制,为政府质量理论的发展提供了微观理论基础。

Based on Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM), this study collects data of variables such as government quality and government trust through questionnaires, and uses regression analysis to deeply analyze the mechanisms and principles by which government quality, government trust and social responsibility affect citizen participation inclination. The study shows that government quality and government trust are key variables affecting citizen participation inclination and have a direct impact on it. In addition, individual social responsibility not only negatively regulates the relationship between government trust and citizen participation inclination, but also weakens the intermediary role of government trust between government quality and citizen participation inclination. The conclusion reveals the complex mechanism by which government quality plays a role of governance, providing a micro-theoretical basis for the development of government quality theory.
