Falling Man transcends over the conventional trauma theme of other 9·11 serious fictions with its specification techniques, but it focuses on the living condition of ordinary postmodern individuals by taking Keith as a typical exampie to disclose the various forms of self-estrangement in the postmodern society. It is the visualization of ontological truth from time and space dimensions, triggering introspections of death and existence. There is a successful reconstruction of postmodern existence in nature, society and self respectively, offering a possible path for people stuck in spiritual swamp towards the true freedom.
