This paper expounds the status of fixture design in the course of mechanical specialty and the function of informatization in teaching. Analyze the problems existing in the teaching link of fixture design, such as the lack of professional fixture course training room, the single teaching method and teaching method, the unreasonable selection of teaching material items, etc. Puts forward and practices the corresponding strategies of setting up the fixture training room, optimizing the teaching links and paying attention to the information teaching, etc., and obtains the positive results.
