The destructive effect of high fill subgrade settlement on subgrade structure is analyzed,and the necessity of prevention and control is explained. This paper analyses the factors affecting the settlement of high fill subgrade from two aspects of natural factors and human factors,and puts forward the preventive measures,which can provide certain technical reference for preventing the settlement of high fill subgrade,reducing the damage to expressway and improving traffic safety.
