The Book of Songs is the earliest and largest collection of poems in the history of Chinese culture. The poems recorded in the Book of Songs cover all aspects of the ancestors’ lives. They use a variety of subjects, display a comprehensive idea and reflect a rich content. They have a very important source significance for us to study the implications and cultural values of the poems in the Book of Songs. In the Book of Songs, people’s ideological activities and social activities in the Pre-Qin period are fully displayed.
