Ethnic minority music is the splendid treasure of our national culture. It is a necessary condition to make a thorough inquiry into the evolution process and inheritance strategy of ethnic minorities and make effective innovations to ensure that the music style can be fully displayed in the contemporary era. Starting from the development of minority music, this paper analyzes the historical context of minority music in order to find innovative ways and inheritance strategies of minority music.
