韩愈英文网络简介的词性和形象建构研究

Parts of Speech and Image Construction in Han Yu’s Online Profiles

建立韩愈英文网络简介语料库,用语料库工具Wmatrix提取主题词性,分析词性特征,并解读其中的韩愈形象。研究显示,具有较高显著性的词性包括第三人称单数代词、动词过去时态、普通名词、副词最高级、普通形容词和限定词等,这些词性一方面增加了语言的书面性、客观性、专业性和简洁度,另一方面提升了内容的丰富性、细节性和生动性,建构出忠君爱国、关心民生、文章盖世、复古崇儒、反佛反道、重情重义、乐于帮助寒士文人、对学生无私付出、率直坦诚、坚忍不拔的韩愈形象。这为韩愈文化的对外传播提供了策略参考。

This article studies the key parts of speech in Han Yu’s online profiles extracted from the global Internet generated with Wmatrix,a corpus linguistic tool,and examines Han Yu’s image.It is concluded that the overused parts of speech include singular third person pronoun,past tense of verb,common noun,superlative adverb,common adjective,and determiners,which not only increase the objectivity,professionalism,and conciseness of the language,but also enrich,detail,and vivify the description of Han Yu as a patriotic,outspoken,tenacious man who served the emperor loyally,cared about people’s wellbeing,advocated Confucianism and the classical style of writing,attacked Buddhism and Taoism,cherished friendship,sponsored many literary figures,and endeavored to mold his students.The study provides a strategic reference for the promotion of Han Yu culture overseas.
