事实与谎言:被发现的马克思与恩格斯的“对立”——对特雷尔·卡弗的《马克思与恩格斯:学术思想关系》中文版序言的理论回应

Facts and Lies: The“Opposition”between Marx and Engels that has been discovered——Theoretical Response to the Chinese Version Preface of Terrell Carver's“Marx and Engels: The Intellectual Relationship”

在《马克思与恩格斯:学术思想关系》一书中文版序言中,特雷尔·卡弗以"厘清马克思和恩格斯的关系"为名,提出要"通过谨慎关注一个特别的日子"即"马克思去世的那天"(1883年3月14日)"来审视恩格斯的叙述",并进而向世界宣布了他"审视"的惊人结果:马克思与恩格斯之间的"惊人对立"。回应特雷尔·卡弗的这一所谓"惊人"发现以及学界中与之相关的观点是每一个有良知的马克思主义研究者的责任所在;这也是在正确的前提和背景之下,促进马克思主义理论发展的需要。在本文中,笔者以《马克思恩格斯全集》中的马克思恩格斯书信所反映出来的关于马克思恩格斯之间真实学术关系及其交往的真实事例为依据,回应卡弗的质疑,并借以揭示所谓的"马克思恩格斯对立的谎言"及回应学界的相关论点,同时,求教学界同仁以促进马克思主义理论研究的发展。

In the Chinese version preface of"Marx and Engels:The Intellectual Relationship",Terrell Carver proposed to"examine Engels’s narrative"by"focusing on a special day through careful consideration"which referred to the day of Marx’s death(March 14,1883)in the name of"clearing the relationship between Marx and Engels",and then announced to the world the amazing results of his"consideration".That is,the"amazing opposition"between Marx and Engels.Responding to this socalled"amazing"discovery by Terrell Carver and the related ideas in the academic world is the responsibility of every conscience-minded Marxist researcher;this is also important in promoting the development of Marxist theory under the correct premise and background.In this paper,the author responds to Carver's questioning and reveals the so-called"Lies of opposition between Marx and Engels"based on the real examples of the true academic relationship and interactions between them reflected in their letters in the"The Complete Works of Marx and Engels",and responds to the relevant arguments of the academic world.At the same time,this paper tries to ask the academic colleagues for advice and promote the development of Marxist Theory.
