Aging precipitation behavior of 7050 alloy under applied current

摘要 釆用维氏硬度仪、电导率测试和差热分析(DSC)、透射电镜(TEM)等方法研究了在固溶和/或时效过程中施加直流电和交流电对7050合金时效析出行为的影响。结果表明:固溶和/或时效过程中施加电流会提髙7050合金的硬度、降低电导率、提高热箱值、降低激活能。120℃常规时效24h后合金达到峰值强度,而施加直流电或交流电后均在时效6h后达到峰值强度。固溶过程中施加电流的强化效果优于时效过程,固溶和时效过程均施加电流且施加直流电强化效果最好。 The effect of direct current ( DC) and alternating current ( AC) on the precipitation behavior of 7050 alloy during solution and/ or aging was studied by means of Vickers hardness test, conductivity test, differential thermal analysis ( DSC) and transmission electron microscopy ( TEM). The results show that the hardness of the 7050 alloy and enthalpy of η phase can be increased by applying current during solid solution and/or aging, but the conductivity of the 7050 alloy and activation energy of q phase decrease. After conventional aging at 120℃ for 24 h, the alloy reaches its peak strength , and under DC or AC at 120℃, the alloy reaches its peak strength after 6 h. The strengthening effect of the current applied in solid solution process is better than that of aging process. For both solid solution and aging process, direct current have the best strengthening effect.
