开展思政课课前大学生5分钟时事主题演讲是探索新形势下改善思政课课堂教学现状的有效手段之一,在时事主题演讲教学中培养大学生运用马克思主义原理、观点和方法去认识、分析重要时事的能力,帮助大学生坚定"四个自信"、牢固树立中国特色社会主义共同理想.通过参与式、探索式和探究式等教学法指导学生完成时事主题演讲,培养学生辩证唯物主义和历史唯物主义世界观和方法论,提高他们思维的独立性和批判性、学习能力和解决问题的能力,培养、提升了大学生创新能力,使其成为实现中华民族伟大复兴的合格时代新人.

The activity of 5 minutes speech about current affairs given by college students before the ideological and political lesson is one of the effective methods in exploring to improve the state of education courses in classroom teaching under the new situation. In the process of giving speech about current affairs, the ability of college students' using the Principles of Marxism, viewpoint and method to realize and analyze important current events was cultivated. Additionally, it helps college students firmly insist "confidence in the path, theory, system, and the culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics", and set up their common belief of socialism with Chinese characteristics in deep extent. Guiding students to complete the speech about current affairs through the teaching methods of participatory, exploratory and inquiry, so as to build up the students' world outlook and methodology of the dialectical materialism and historical materialism, improve their thinking independence and criticism, ability of learning and problem solving skills, and cultivate as well as promote the college students' innovation ability, making them become the ones qualified new era to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
