Since the emergence of “three religions” in the Southern and Northern Dynasties, it has gradually developed. In the Sui and Tang Dynasties, there was a saying that “three religions could be united as one”. The thoughts or social forces, formed by the “three religions” in its development, are often used by the emperors of the past to keep on the national fate. There was no exception, either even in the reign of Emperor Taizong in the early Tang Dynasty. Under the premise of ruling the country by Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism were advocated and restrained by their developmental situation to achieve a balanced development between the “three religions”. At the same time, Emperor Taizong also strongly advocated for the role of "three religions" in the social indoctrination.
