The internal factor affecting the somatotype is heredity;while the external factors are living environment, nutrition, exercise intervention and so on. The Heath-Carter method has broad application prospects in the field of sports. It can evaluate the growth and development of children and adolescents, promote physical health, and guide athletes in scientific selection and sports training.
