湘西地区土司体育文化起源与价值功能研究

The Historical Origin and Value Function of Tusi Sports Culture in Western Hunan

为了探析湘西地区土司体育文化历史起源及价值功能,本文采用文献资料法、实地调查法、专家访谈法对湘西地区土司文化的代表地老司城进行了实地调查,对湘西地区土司体育文化的起源和价值功能进行研究梳理,研究表明:老司城土司体育文化的形成不仅与元明清实行“以夷制夷”的土司制度有关,也与当地人民生存的地理环境、生产生活方式、宗教祭祀、传统节日、土司兵制等息息相关;老司城土司体育文化在特定时期,具有保边戍僵、稳定社会、收服人心、健身娱乐等重要的价值作用,笔者对土司体育文化的研究,有利于丰富土司学的研究内容,意在挖掘出优秀的土司体育文化,了解其在传承过程中遇到的问题,以便进一步促进其现代化的发展。

In order to probe into the historical origin and value function of Tusi sports culture in Western Hunan, this paper conducts a field survey of Laosicheng, the representative place of Tusi culture in Western Hunan, using the methods of documentation, field investigation and expert interview to study the origin and value function of Tusi sports culture in Western Hunan. The research shows that the formation of Tusi sports culture in Laosicheng is not only related to the Tusi system of "suppressing barbarians by barbarians" in Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, it also includes geographical environment, production and lifestyle, religious sacrifices, traditional festivals, the military system of Tusi, etc. Laosicheng Tusi sports culture plays an important role in frontier protection, stabilization of society, acceptance of people's hearts, fitness and entertainment. The author's research on Tusi sports culture is conducive to enriching the content of Tusi studies, aiming at excavating excellent Tusi sports culture and understanding the problems encountered in the process of inheritance, so as to further promote its modernization.
