清末民初云南公共图书馆的创建与发展(1909—1919)

The Establishment and Development of Yunnan Public Library in the Late Qing Dynasty and the Early Republic of China (1909-1919)

清末民初,从中央到地方兴起了创设公共图书馆的热潮。1909年10月,滇省集各方力量创建了云南图书馆,后又设立博物馆,添设夜间阅报,筹设海心亭第一阅报分处,辑刻《云南丛书》等,使图书馆事业获得了发展。云南图书馆的建立与发展,对全国其他图书馆的发展起到了示范与推动作用,推动了我国近代图书馆事业的发展。

At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, the upsurge of creating public libraries rose from the central to the local cities. On October 1909, the provincial government set up the Yunnan Library, and later established a museum with night newspapers the first reading branch of Haixin Pavilion as well as the Yunnan Books . The museum has greatly developed. The establishment and development of the Yunnan Library has played a role in demonstrating and promoting the development of other libraries across the country and strengthened the development of the modern library industry in China.
