物质主义下的“适度设计”之思辨

REFLECTIONS ON "MODERATE DESIGN" UNDER MATERIALISM

物质主义将设计推向无节制的发展方向,重新反思后现代主义设计的符号拜物教思想,对于探索简约化设计路径有重要意义。采用文献研究法与案例研究法,追溯中国传统设计思想与国外优秀设计理念。中国传统美学思想中的适度观、日本设计中的侘寂美学、以巴巴纳克为代表的西方现代设计伦理观,对于构建一种“适度设计”体系具有重要借鉴意义。设计师在面临不同话语系统的博弈时,需要树立一种可持续发展的“整体观”,在“审美-功能-伦理”、“设计-生产-消费”之间寻求统一与平衡。

Materialism pushes design to an uncontrolled direction of development,and it is of great significance to rethink the symbolic fetishism thought of postmodernism design in order to explore the path of simplified design.By using the method of literature research and case study,this paper traces back to the traditional Chinese design idea and the excellent design idea of foreign countries.The concept of appropriateness in Chinese traditional aesthetic thought,the wash aesthetics in Japanese design,and the western modern design ethics represented by Barbanak are of great significance for the construction of a"moderate design"system.In the face of the game of different discourse systems,the designer needs to set up a"holistic view"of sustainable development and seek the unity and balance between the"aesthetic-function-ethics"and the"Design-Production-Consumption".
