Explore the application of CMF(color,material,surface treatment technology)in the appearance design of new Chinese style furniture,to provide a new design idea,and realize the appearance innovation design of new Chinese style furniture.Through the elaboration of CMF design color,material,surface treatment technology in the understanding,analysis of CMF attribute value of new Chinese style furniture culture,diversity,the role of the spiritual value,summarizes the different colors,materials,surface treatment technology in the new Chinese style furniture design features,explore CMF in new Chinese style furniture design innovation method.Finally,the tenon frame is used as the design practice to verify the feasibility of the method.CMF design study can be effectively applied to the new Chinese style furniture design,provide reference basis for the design,and for the mortise and tenon joint shelf design provides a comprehensive solution,the colour of the multiplicity of culture,material,surface treatment spiritual value attribute of the application in furniture design,improved the market competitiveness of furniture,for the new Chinese style furniture design provides a new direction.
