传统印版文字对现代字体设计的借鉴应用——以无锡铜活字为例

TRADITIONAL PRINTING TYPE TO MODERN FONT DESIGN FOR REFERENCE——TAKING WUXI COPPER MOVABLE CHARACTER AS AN EXAMPLE

以对传统印版文字的发展及无锡铜活字印刷文化的研究为基础,进行继承与创新,复兴活字文化。研究无锡铜活字的字体特点,采用复刻创新设计的方法,进行现代字体设计。完成既具有原始韵味又适应现代环境使用的字体设计。传统印版文字的优美和其内涵特点对现代字体设计的具有重要借鉴作用。

Based on the development of traditional printing plate and the study of wuxi bronzeschrift culture,we carry on the inheritance and innovation to revive the culture of movable type.This paper studies the character of wuxi bronzeschrift and adopts the method of reproducing innovative design to design the modern type.Complete both the original flavor and adapt to the use of modern environment font design.The beauty and connotation of the traditional printing plate has an important reference to the modern font design.
