苏轼十三次来常州,最终归老于常州。因为苏轼,常州运河成为京杭大运河浓墨重彩的一笔,也让舣舟亭、仰苏阁、洗砚池、东坡公园等"东坡"遗存在大运河文化长廊里大放异彩。充分挖掘常州运河沿岸的"东坡"文化遗存,对于增强常州运河乃至江南运河的影响力以及打造常州文化品牌形象具有重要作用。

Su Shi once came to Changzhou more than thirteen times where he passed away in the end.Thanks to Su Shi,the cultural remains of Changzhou Canal has become a colorful and brilliant part in the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.A large amount of Dongpo's cultural remains left in Changzhou,such as in Yizhou Pavilion,Yangsu Pavilion,Xiyan Pool,Dongpo Park,and so on,has been splendid in the Grand Canal Cultural Corridor.Hence,fully excavating the Dongpo’s cultural heritage along the Changzhou Canal will play an important role in enhancing the influence of the Changzhou Canal and even the Jiangnan Canal and building the cultural brand image of Changzhou.
