The Embodiment of Conceptual Transfer in the Acquisition of English Vocabulary and Syntax

概念迁移是近年来语言迁移研究的最新理论之一,它为研究者们从认知层面上解释语言迁移现象提供了强大的理论支撑;概念迁移体现在学习者中介语的各个层面。从概念迁移视角出发,分析汉语对我国英语学习者在习得英语词汇和句法过程中的迁移影响,并阐释迁移的原因,既能够加深学习者对二语学习中概念迁移的认识,也能对英语教学具有指导作用。

Conceptual transfer is one of the new trends in language transfer research. It provides a strong theoretical support for researchers to explain language transfer from the cognitive level. Conceptual Transfer is embodied in all aspects of learner’s interlanguage. This paper analyzes the Chinese concepts transfer in the acquisition of English vocabulary and syntax and expounds the reasons from a conceptual transfer perspective, hoping that it can deepen the learners’ understanding of conceptual transfer and instruct English teaching and learning.
