A Summary of Studies on Urban Integration of Migrant Workers

农民工是我国城市化进程中的庞大群体,其在城市融入进程中受到阻碍也就意味着城市化战略的实施受阻,因此,关注农民工群体的城市融入状况至关重要。从物质空间融入、行为空间融入以及情感空间融入3个方面对农民工城市融入的研究进展作以梳理,以及探究影响其城市融入的经济、社会、空间机理,以期对以后的农民工城市融入研究有所贡献。

Migrant workers are a large group in the process of urbanization in China. The impediment in the process of urban integration means that the implementation of urbanization strategy is hindered. Therefore, it is of vital importance to pay attention to the urban integration of migrant workers. This paper sorted out the research progress of migrant workers’ urban integration from three aspects: material space integration, behavior space integration and emotional space integration, and explore the economic, social and spatial mechanisms affecting the city’s integration, with a view to contribute the studies in the future.
