摘要
采用磁选分离法,研究了周期式高梯度磁选机背景磁感应强度、矿浆流速、矿浆质量分数、磁介质规格等参数对高岭土除铁效果的影响。结果表明:提高背景磁感应强度可以降低高岭土的铁含量;矿浆流速、矿浆质量分数和磁介质钢毛宽度和厚度的增加会降低高岭土的除铁效果。当背景磁感应强度为1.0 T、矿浆流速为0.7 cm/s、矿浆质量分数为20%、不锈钢毛宽约0.1 mm、厚约 0.05 mm时,对Fe2O3含量为1.32%、白度为62.6%的高岭土,1次磁选可将Fe2O3含量降至 0.62%,白度提高至84.6%;2次磁选将Fe2O3含量降至0.42%,白度提高至90.2%。
The magnetic separation method was carried out to study the effects of magnetic separation parameters such as magnetic induction intensity, slurry flow rate, slurry concentration and magnetic medium on the removal of iron from kaolin. The results show that, iron content of the kaolin can be reduced with the increasing of background magnetic induction, and the efficiency of iron removal from kaolin will be reduced with the increase of slurry flow rate, slurry concentration and magnetic medium diameter. Under the condition of pulp flow rate at 0.7 cm/s, slurry concentration at 20% and the background magnetic induction intensity at 1.2 T, the feed kaolin containing 1.32% Fe2O3 with the whiteness of 62.6%, can be upgraded to the product with whiteness of 84.6% and 0.62% Fe2O3 by primary magnetic separation, and the whiteness of kaolin can be further increased to 90.2% with 0.42% Fe2O3 by secondary magnetic separation.
