Ideological and political education takes on the great task of studying, researching and propagating Marxist theory, and occupies an important position in teaching. With the rapid development of information technology such as the Internet, mobile communications, and smart phones, ideological and political teaching has undergone changes. This paper discusses the reform and innovation of ideological and political teaching under the influence of information, and explores how to further advance the ideological and political education work of Chinese universities in the network era.
