Gas Entrainment Behavior of Aluminum Alloy in Low Pressure Die Casting Process Based on Flow-3D Software

摘要 基于Flow-3D软件对3种不同结构的铸件低压铸造充型过程进行数值模拟,分析了增压速度和铸件结构对充型过程中卷气量的影响。基于模拟结果,分别选择卷气最严重和充型最平稳的两种结构模型,进行生产试制,并对其进行了拉伸测试,分析了卷气量对压铸件力学性能的影响。 Flow-3 Dsoftware was carried out to simulate the filling process of casting parts with three type of structures in low pressure die casting(LPDC)process.The influence of the pressurization rate and structure of the castings on the volume of entrained air were investigated.Based on the simulated results,the models with big volume of entrained air and most smoothly filling process were selected and produced in the factory.Tensile samples were prepared and the relationship of the air entrainment and mechanical properties were analyzed.
