Research on the Development of World Youth Soccer Championships

运用数理统计法、文献资料法和逻辑分析法等对世界青年足球锦标赛竞争格局和发展特征进行分析,探讨世青赛的基本现状和动向。世青赛的受关注度虽远不及世界杯、欧洲杯等顶级国际足球赛事,但它在国际足联的竞赛体系中具有重要的桥梁功能,是世界青年足球人才走向国际足球舞台中心的重要跳板和通道。因此,全面深入分析该赛事发展的历史和竞技格局,将有助于我国青年足球更好地融入世界青年足球发展体系。研究发现,在竞争格局方面,洲际格局显示出南美洲和欧洲为主导,非洲、亚洲、中北美及加勒比海地区和大洋洲参与竞争的总体格局态势;国家格局显示出处于第一集团的阿根廷和巴西分庭抗礼,处于第二集团的欧洲诸强和非洲加纳队群雄逐鹿,处于第三集团的其他各路诸侯在世青赛中具有存在感和突破潜力。在发展特征方面,参赛年龄相对放宽,赛事规模逐渐扩大,赛事地位进一步提升;赛事承办全球化,赛事功能日渐提升,非足球强国获得更多表现机会;赛事的整体竞技水平尚未达到预期高度,部分足球强国并未高度重视。

This paper analyzes the competition pattern and development characteristics of the World Youth Soccer Championships by using mathematical statistics,literature and logic analysis,and discusses the basic status and trends of the World Youth Championship.Although the World Youth Championship is far less concerned than the top international football events such as the World Cup and the European Cup,but it has an important bridge function in the FIFA competition system.It is an important springboard and channel for the world youth football talents to go to the center of the international football stage.Therefore,a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of the history and competitive patterns of the development of the event will help China’s youth football to better integrate into the world youth football development system.The study found that in terms of the competitive landscape,the intercontinental pattern shows that South America and Europe dominate the overall pattern of competition in Africa,Asia,Central America and the Caribbean and Oceania;the national pattern shows Argentina and Brazil in the first group.In the second group,the European powers and the African Ghana team competed in the competition.The other princes in the third group have a sense of presence and breakthrough potential in the World Youth Championship.In terms of development characteristics,the age of participation has been relatively relaxed,the scale of the event has gradually expanded,and the status of the event has been further improved.The competition has been globalized,the functions of the event have been gradually improved,and non-soccer powers have gained more performance opportunities.The overall level of competition has not yet reached the expected height.The football powers are not highly valued.
