Deepening Reform Entails Strengthening the CPC’s Political Construction

加强政治建设,利用政治统治维护和巩固国家政权,是共产党人的历史使命和马克思主义的本质要求,马克思主义执政党就是要旗帜鲜明地讲政治。2019年5月13日,党中央决定在全党开展“不忘初心,牢记使命”的主题教育活动,就是要锤炼党员干部忠诚干净担当的政治品格,在一定程度上吹响了新时代加强政治建设的号角弱化政治建设,容易为西方搞颜色革命、和平演变提供可乘之机,导致党和国家上下腐败堕落,加强政治建设,能够进一步维护党的领导,保障改革开放坚持正确政治方向,防止党员干部迷失自我。

Strengthening political construction and maintaining and consolidating the state power with political rule are the historical mission of the Communists and the essential requirement of Marxism.A Marxist ruling party is to stress politics with a clear banner.On May 13 th,2019,the Central Committee of the CPC decided to carry out a series of education activities throughout the party under the theme of "Remaining true to our original aspiration and keeping our mission firmly in mind",that is,to mould party members and cadres into the political character of loyalty and integrity,which to a certain extent initiated the activities of strengthening political construction in the new era.The weakening of political construc-tion may easily cause the color revolution and peaceful evolution of the West,and lead to the corruption and degeneration of the party and the state.Strengthening political construction can further safeguard the leadership of the CPC,ensure that reform and opening-up adhere to the correct political direction,and prevent party members and cardres from losing themselves.
