In Dakar, capital of Senegal, the leading authority when it comes to traditional Chinese medicine is a local Senegalese lady. After 10 years of studying this subject in China, Mame Awa Ly Fall Diop returned home a few years ago to set up her own business. In doing so, she has been eagerly supported by tlie Confucius Institute at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, which has provided her with an office in its building.
