《押沙龙,押沙龙》从三个叙事者的视角立体地再现了萨德本家族的兴衰史。在不同声音的叙事里,时间被颠倒了顺序,众多的人物和事件在貌似杂乱无章的空间交错。循着种族问题的伦理线和伦理结,就会发现其中的人物始终处在追逐的状态中,萨德本家族的覆灭是必然的,种族主义是一切罪恶的根源。

Absalom, Absalom, which was written by the American writer William Faulkner, reconstructed the rise and fall of the Sutpens clearly. In different narrations, time was reversed, while all characters and events crisscross in a disordered space. Following racism, the ethical line of the novel, as well as the ethical knots, we can find the characters in the novel are always in a state of chase: the Sutpens are doomed to death. Racism is the roots of all the sins.
