中医药院校大学生图书借阅行为分析与思考——以湖南中医药大学为例

Analysis and Reflection on Borrowing Behaviors of Students in TCM Colleges and Universities-Taking Hu’nan University of Chinese Medicine as an Example

目的通过分析湖南中医药大学2016、2017级大学生在2016年1月-2017年12月的年图书借阅行为,为图书馆服务和资源建设提供参考。方法统计2016、2017年我校研究生、普通本科生及自费本科生的基本借阅数据,采用Excel2007对借阅册数、借阅频次、书籍类别、热门书籍等进行统计分析。结果发现2016-2017年我校借阅者女性多于男性,借阅书籍以医学和文学图书最多,研究生以医药类书籍为主、普通本科生医药类与文学类书籍借阅量相近,自费本科生以文学类书籍为主,3类人群在阅读爱好上存在差异。在借阅次数前200名书籍中也以文学类书籍居多,中医四大经典类书籍借阅情况不尽人意。结论通过数据分析掌握了我校学生的阅读需求与特点,为学校图书采编等资源建设提供了依据;同时对突出中医特色、提高大学生图书借阅率提出了建议。

Objective To analyze the book borrowing behaviors of college students in grades 2016 and 2017 in Hu’nan University of Chinese Medicine from Jan. 2016 to Dec. 2017;To provide a basis for library services and resource construction. Methods Basic borrowing data of postgraduates, general undergraduates and selffunded undergraduates in Hu’nan University of Chinese Medicine in 2016 to 2017 were under statistics. Excel 2007 was used for statistical analysis on the number of borrowed books, borrowing frequency, book categories, and popular books. Results It was found that in 2016-2017, the number of female borrowers in Hu’nan University of Chinese Medicine was more than that of males. Most borrowed books were medical and literary books. Postgraduates mainly borrowed medicine books;general undergraduates mainly borrowed medical books, which had the similar borrowing amount as the literary books;self-funded undergraduates mainly focused on literary books. There were differences in reading hobbies among the three groups of students. Literary books dominated the top 200 books of borrowing amount, and the borrowing condition of the four classic books of TCM was not satisfactory. Conclusion The reading demands and characteristics of students in Hu’nan University of Chinese Medicine were mastered through data analysis, which can provide a basis for books collection and compilation and resources construction;at the same time, this article also proposes suggestions for how to improve the rate of borrowing and highlight the characteristics of TCM.
