Taba Gold Deposit is a small gold deposit newly discovered in Sokor area of Malay Peninsula in recent years. The orebody occurs in the Permian-Triassic volcanic-sedimentary rock series, strictly controlled by the nearly north-south faults, and generally develops wall rock alterations such as silicification, pyritization, sericitization and chloritization. This paper describes the geological characteristics of the deposit, summarizes its main ore-controlling factors and mineralization enrichment rules, and discusses the genesis of the deposit.
