摘要
随着中外贸易交流愈发频繁,国际商务谈判口译在中外合作中起非常重要的作用。由于交际双方在文化,意识形态,商务等方面存在巨大差异,译员不仅需要将源语翻译成目标语,还需要发挥多样的人际功能,以确保谈判顺畅进行。因此,国际商务谈判中口译技巧的选择和运用就变得至关重要。文章旨在通过分析欧恰会圆桌会议中的实例,阐述如何在国际商务谈判中运用增译法,省译法和转换法等口译技巧使谈判顺利进行。此外,希望本文能为那些缺乏这类口译任务经验的译员提供实用的帮助和指导。
As a result of the frequent trade exchanges between China and foreign countries,interpreting of international business negotiations(IIBN)plays an increasingly significant role in Si no-foreign cooperation.Due to the numerous differences among countries in terms of culture,ideology and business practice,interpreters are required not only to transform the information from source language into target language,but also to move the negotiation forward.Thus,the selection and application of interpreting techniques is of vital importance.This paper aims to illustrate how interpreting techniques such as amplification,omission and conversion are applied in IIBN through analysis of examples taken from EU-China Partenariat round table conference in order to make the negotiation move forward smoothly.In the meantime,it is hoped that a report on such interpreting practice might be of great help to those who happen to have no experience addressing this kind of interpreting task.
