The development of day ward has obvious advantages and signifi cance. By analyzing the cost of patients receiving daytime chemotherapy, the impact of the implementation of daytime chemotherapy medical insurance policy on patients and their medical institutions was assessed. By collecting the cost of breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy during hospitalization as basic data, this paper explores the management methods of day wards, calculates the cost according to the health insurance policy of day wards, and compares them before and after.The daytime ward has the characteristics of low medical cost and low patient self-payment. Its smooth development must be supported by policy environment and information technology. At the same time, special attention should be paid to medical safety.
