成效评估关注图书馆的资源和服务对用户的贡献,成为近年来图书馆评估研究的趋势。本研究分析ACRL有关高校图书馆成效评估的研究报告,以期对国内高校图书馆有所启示。本研究以AiA项目的6份研究报告为样本,采用文献分析方法,梳理美国高校图书馆成效评估的过程、结论及存在的问题。高校图书馆应在成效评估中与高校整体目标相融合,关注长期效用,并以成效为导向,实现服务创新和提升。

Academic and research libraries are increasingly called upon to document their value and their contribution to institutional mission and goals.This research reviewed ACRL’s outcomes assessment reports to demonstrate the implication to Academic libraries in China.6 reports of Program AiA were reviewed by the documentation analysis method.This research summarized the process,findings and limitations of some American academic library outcome assessments.Library instruction,space and services contribute to students’study,social and academic community and other campus success.Collaborative assessment with the understanding of an institution’s academic priorities can promote the value of library outcome assessment.Academic libraries should focus on the students’long-term academic experience and advance the outcome-oriented service.
