Trade effect of Enterprise Infrastructure Construction in “China-Pakistan Economic Corridor”

在“中巴经济走廊”背景下,分析了中国与巴基斯坦贸易和中国对巴基斯坦投资现状,运用GTAP模型分析中国对巴基斯坦基建投资即基础设施畅通所带来的贸易效应。结果显示:在“中巴经济走廊”中中国有经济获益但数额相对较小,巴基斯坦的综合贸易效应中收益巨大。“中巴经济走廊”建设对西亚、非洲地区具有经济拉动效应。尤其是西亚,成为除中国和巴基斯坦外受益最多的地区。这验证了“中巴经济走廊”的“走廊”作用起到切实效果,影响了西亚和非洲,并带去福利。

Under the background of“China-Pakistan Economic Corridor”,this paper applies GTAP model to analyze the trade effects of trade barriers reduction,that is,trade facilitation,and the trade effects of infrastructure investment in Pakistan.And the combined effect of both.The simulation results show that the trade effect of“China-Pakistan Economic Corridor”on China and Pakistan.China has benefited smaller from“China-Pakistan Economic Corridor”than Pakistan.Pakistan has a lot of benefit,especially in terms of smooth infrastructure.Construction of“China-Pakistan Economic Corridor”for West Asia and Africa has regional economic pull effect.Residents’welfare and trade surpluses have risen in West Asia and Africa.West Asia,in particular,has benefited the most except China and Pakistan.This verifies that the“corridor”of“China-Pakistan Economic Corridor”has worked effectively,and it took West Asia and Africa with benefits.
