In recent years,with the increasing application of flexible sucker rods such as FRP sucker rods and carbon fiber sucker rods,people pay more attention to whether these flexible sucker rod pumping wells can save electricity. From the theoretical analysis and practical application of energy consumption in pumping wells,this paper analyses "Can light rod save electricity?" This subject clarifies some vague understandings.
