摘要
尽管产学研界一直在探讨和推动后发企业的创新升级问题,但绝大多数企业仍然面临创新转型困境,难以自拔。越来越多的研究表明:颠覆性创新是资源和人才匮乏的后发企业实现创新的有效途径。但关于颠覆性创新机理的研究仍较为匮乏。本研究对小米公司颠覆性创新的行为与过程进行探索性研究,总结归纳了后发企业的颠覆性创新机理模型。模型表明:后发企业可以通过产品、服务以及拓展模式等多种创新行为实现颠覆。组织搜索(同行搜索和跨界搜索)是后发企业实施颠覆性创新的重要驱动力,而企业的机会能力强化调节了后发企业组织搜索和颠覆性创新之间的关系。
Although the industry,academia and research communities have been exploring and promoting the issue of innovation and upgrading of latecomer firms,the vast majority of companies are still facing difficulties in innovation and transformation and are unable to extricate themselves.More and more researches show that disruptive innovation is an effective way to provide innovative ways for latecomer firms with scarce resources and talents.This study conducted an exploratory study on disruptive innovation behaviors of Xiaomi corporation and summed up the disruptive innovation mechanism model of latecomer firms.The model shows that latecomer firms can achieve disruption through a variety of innovative behaviors such as products,services and expansion models.Organization search is an important driving force for latecomer firms to implement disruptive innovations,and a company’s opportunity capabilities have strengthened the relationship between organization search and disruptive innovation.
