The Results of the Survey in Q2 2019 Show that the Economists Expect the Economy to Maintain Stable Growth Throughout the Year Report of the Survey on the Confidence of About 100 Chinese Economists in Q2 2019

国家统计局中国经济景气监测中心于2019年6月开展的中国百名经济学家信心调查显示,二季度经济学家信心指数有所回落,经济学家对当前经济形势的满意程度基本稳定,多数经济学家对当前经济形势给予积极评价;但是对未来预期有所减弱,主要源于对国内外经济环境不稳定不确定因素增加的担忧。经济学家预期全年我国经济继续运行在合理区间。

China Economic Monitoring and Analysis Center (CEMAC), National Bureau of Statistics, conducted a survey on the con fide nee of about 100 Chinese economists in June 2019, accordi ng to which, the confide nee in dex of econo mists fell back in Q2, the level of their satisfaction with the current economic situation was basically stable, and most of them made positive commerits on the current economic situation. However, their expectations for the future weakened, mainly due to concerns about the in creasing instability and uncertainty of the domestic and foreign economic environment. They expect that China's economy will continue to run within a reas on able range throughout the year.
