图书馆与出版社合作开展出版服务已经成为图书馆出版服务的重要模式之一。探索美国大学图书馆与出版社合作出版服务实践,对我国开展图书馆出版服务相关工作具有借鉴意义。采用案例研究的方法分析美国图书馆出版服务最具代表性的高校--普渡大学。在了解其学术出版服务的背景和模式转变的基础上,从资金来源、岗位及人员设置、出版服务流程、出版服务平台和出版物类型5个方面归纳普渡大学图书馆与出版社出版服务合作模式的特点。提出对我国开展图书馆出版服务的启示:设置专业的出版馆员岗位和探索建立专门的学术出版服务部门,以重点学科为切入点和获得多方资金支持,设计便捷高效的出版服务流程和提供强有力的技术支持。

The cooperation between libraries and presses in publishing service has become one of the important models of library publishing service. Exploring the publishing service cooperation practice of American university libraries and presses is of great significance for the library publishing service in China. The paper uses case study to analyse the most representative American university library publishing service-the Purdue University. After learning the background and model change of its academic publishing service, it summarizes the experience and characteristics of the cooperation between Purdue University Library and press in publishing service in terms of funding source, human resources development,publishing service process, publishing service platform and publication types. The lessons drawn for the development of library publishing in China: setting up professional position of publishing librarian and the specialized academic publishing service department, focusing on key disciplines and obtaining the multifunding supports, designing a convenient and efficient publishing service process and providing the strong technical support.
