Investigation of Eight Difficult Characters in the Anthologies from Chinese literature in Middle Ancient Times

语篇文献疑难字的考辨是全汉字整理研究的主要内容之一。论文对中古集部典籍中的“■”“■”“■”“■”“■”“■”“■”“■”等八个疑难字从文献使用、字形演变及异文佐证等三个方面进行了考辨,认为可分别与“狐”“皚”“鲜”“嵁”“馺”“奰”“岸”“曜”等字沟通字际关系。

The investigation and annotation of difficult characters in textual literature is one of the main undertakings of the overall and systematic study of Chinese characters. In this paper, eight difficult characters, such as“■”“■”“■”“■”“■”“■”“■” and “”in the anthologies from Chinese literature in middle ancient times are investigated based on Chinese historical literature, the evolution of character shapes and the evidence of alternative scripts. The paper argues that their functions are closely related with the characters “狐”“皚”“鲜”“嵁”“馺”“奰”“岸” and “曜”.
