This essay investigates Raumplan and Raumplanung of the Sunyata Hotel in Dali Old Town.This hotel is founded by Lai Guoping and designed by Zhao Yang.In the very small site in the Old Town of Dali,they created a cultural experiential hotel with fourteen distinctive guest rooms.This building blurs the relationships between interiority and exteriority,city and strset,singularity and unification,buildings and courtyards,and architecture and fumitune.It reflects Adolf Loos’ s Ruamplan and the essence of Yuan Ye.
