摘要
自20世纪末以来,监控技术及其运用开始成为各类电影叙事中的重要元素,同时开始无处不在地出现在当代社会中。本文为《监控电影》一书的导言,追溯了电影从诞生伊始即具有的监控元素及其意识形态内涵,列举并分析了电影研究与监控研究两个领域的交叉,并以科波拉的《对话》为例,论述了电影制作与监控在实践层面上的紧密关联。本文试图说明,电影与监控在逻辑与实践上都具有深刻的相似性,并在形式上相互渗透。
Since the late 20th Century,the technology and practice of surveillance have become one of the important elements in various types of films,in conjunction with the prevalence of surveillance in contemporary society.As the introduction part of Surveil ance Cinema which mainly focuses on contemporary instances,this article traces the surveillant elements in cinema from its emergence and analyses the intersection of surveillance and film studies.Ultimately,it takes The Conversation as example,discussing the implicit association of surveillance practice and film production.What this article tries to demonstrate is that there exist profound similarities between surveillance and cinema,with their forms inherited from each other.
