The Main Sources and Transportation of Blue and White Materials in Yuan and Ming Dynasties

生产青花瓷的过程中,通常都会用到青花料这种釉下高温颜料。青花瓷的发展受到了青花料的品质和成色的决定性影响。青花瓷的大量需求直接影响了青花瓷釉料的供应也就是青花料的供应。本文在解释青花料分类的基础上,将以丝绸之路、郑和下西洋和茶马古道三个重要传播途径的内容着重分析元明时期青花料来源。

Blue and white pigments belong to high temperature pigments under glaze, and they are the necessary raw materials for the production of blue and white porcelain. The quality and color of blue and white materials determine the development of blue and white porcelain. The large demand for blue and white porcelain has a direct impact on the supply of blue and white porcelain glaze, that is, the supply of blue and white materials. On the basis of explaining the classification of blue and white materials, this paper focuses on the analysis of the sources of blue and white materials in Yuan and Ming Dynasty through three important ways of transmission: the Silk Road, Zheng He’s Western Ocean and the Tea-Horse Road.
