在“双一流大学”建设背景下,高校图书馆作为学校至关重要的公共空间,不仅是服务大学生的主要窗口,更是高校必不可少的育人平台,对其工作进行评估是十分必要的。第三方评估与其他评估模式相比更加独立、客观、公平,其评估结果能够比较客观地反映高校图书馆各项指标情况。目前,高校图书馆第三方评估得到了显著的发展,高校图书馆与第三方机构的资质、评估指标、制度安排等要素在评估活动中也起到了促进作用。
