城镇化、产业结构优化与城乡收入差距演化——基于长三角城市群面板数据的实证分析

Urbanization, Industrial Structure Optimization and Income Gap between Urban and Rural Areas——Based on Panel Data in the Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomeration

为了研究城镇化、产业结构优化与城乡收入差距演化之间的关系,通过构建数理模型,在提出城镇化与城乡收入差距之间、产业结构优化与城乡收入差距之间均存在倒U型关系假设的前提下,采用1997-2016年长三角城市群的面板数据,对长三角24个城市的城镇化、产业结构与城乡收入差距之间的关系进行了实证分析。研究表明城镇化与产业结构优化的协同发展对缩小城乡收入差距有显著影响:在经济发展初期阶段,城镇化和产业结构优化会扩大城乡收入差距,当经济发展到一定阶段后,城镇化、产业结构优化能有效缩小城乡收入差距。因此,缩小城乡收入差距、实现城乡协调发展必须坚持城镇化的发展方向,坚持产业结构高级化的发展方向,坚持城镇化和产业结构优化协同的发展方向。

In order to study the relationship between urbanrural income gap, urbanization and industrial structure optimization, this paper constructs a mathematical model to analyze the inverted U-shaped relationship between urbanization and urban-rural income gap, and the inverted U-shaped relationship between industrial structure optimization and urban-rural income gap. Using panel data of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration from 1997 to 2016, this paper makes an empirical analysis of the relationship between urbanization rate and urban-rural income gap in 24 cities of the Yangtze River Delta. The research shows that the urbanization process has aggravated the income gap between urban and rural areas in the Yangtze River Delta region, and the optimization of industrial institutions can narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas. The coordinated development of the two has a significant impact on narrowing the income gap between urban and rural areas. When economic development reaches a certain stage, urbanization and optimization of industrial structure can effectively narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas. Therefore, in order to narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas and achieve balanced development between urban and rural areas, we must adhere to the development direction of population urbanization, the development direction of industrial structure upgrading, and the development direction of coordinated urbanization and industrial structure optimization.
