Sewage treatment plant is one o f the main facilities for treating urban sewage. It plays a vital role in the whole water control system of the city. Its treatment level and scale are directly related to the effectiveness of urban sewage treatment. Under the background of rapid social and economic development, China’s urbanization process has accelerated and the scale of the city has continued to expand. At the same time, the continuous increase in the amount of sewage generated has put enormous pressure on the urban resources and environment. Based on this, urban sewage treatment has increasingly become a hot spot of social concern. However, there are still some defects in the sewage treatment in China’s cities. This paper will focus on these shortcomings to propose corresponding countermeasures in order to improve the level of urban sewage treatment, so as to provide a good living environment for the people.
