摘要 电磁场与电磁波理论是电子信息类、通信类本科生的专业基础课,其内容涉及矢量与场论、复变函数以及偏微分方程的求解,存在数学要求高、求解过程复杂等问题,因而在目前的教学过程中,存在教师难教、学生难学的现象。Maple作为目前世界上最为通用的数学和工程计算软件之一,具有强大的符号计算能力。利用Maple的符号运算功能,学生可以避开电磁场与电磁波理论中复杂的数学推导过程,能够更加容易地理解和掌握电磁场与电磁波的特性和规律。将Maple运用于电磁场与电磁波理论教学中,可以激发学生的学习兴趣,有效地提高课程的教学质量和教学效果。 Electromagnetic field and electromagnetic wave theory is a basic course for electronic information and communication undergraduates.The teaching content involves vector and field theory,complex function and the solution of partial differential equation.There are high mathematical requirements and complex problems to solve. Therefore,in the current teaching process,there are difficult in teaching and learning.As one of the most commonly used mathematical and engineering computing software in the world,Maple has strong symbolic computing ability.With the symbolic operation function of Maple,students can avoid the complicated mathematical collapse process in the theory of electromagnetic field and electromagnetic wave,and can understand and master the characteristics and laws of electromagnetic field and electromagnetic wave more easily.Application of Maple in the teaching of electromagnetic field and electromagnetic wave theory can stimulate students' interest in learning and effectively improve the teaching quality and effect of the course.
