Curriculum teaching reform is one of the important means to improve students'practical skills and cultivate students'innovative ability,and it is also an important part of higher education reform.This article explores some feasible measures for improving the teaching level of the cartography course from the six aspects of rationally arranging the curriculum,optimizing the teaching content,guiding students to learn independently,strengthening practical operations,mastering drawing skills,and mobilizing students'enthusiasm for learning,which provide references for colleagues.
