The biological specimen laboratory in local universities is the base of teaching and scientific research in the disciplines of biology,animal science and aquatic science.It is also the base of popular science education.They were analyzed from the role and significance of biological specimen laboratory,the present situation and existing problems,the construction of biological specimen laboratory.Measures to improve the utilization ratio of biological specimen laboratory resources in local universities were discussed.It provides ideas for the construction,development and resource utilization of the local universities biological specimen laboratory.
